Grasscloth wallpaper is a popular wall covering that is made of any number of natural fibers. It has many
benefits as well as a few concerns. Faux grasscloth wallpaper can take care of some if these concerns in various

Regular grasscloth wallpaper is prized by many people as a wall covering for a few reasons. One of the main
attractions to it is the natural look and texture that it can add to any decorative style. It will blend in and add
an aesthetical appeal to many rooms that are decorated in more natural decorative style. The textures and patterns
available in grasscloth wallpaper can compliment a wide variety of themes such as a jungle theme, beach theme, and
many more. It is an environmentally friendly and renewable wall covering which can provide a guilt free decorative
touch for many people. There are some concerns to take into account though.
Natural fibers are not always the easiest to clean. Standard wallpaper can quite often be cleaned with a mild
soap and water. This is not so easy with grasscloth wallpaper. Getting stubborn stains out of a natural fiber can
be very problematic. An accidental wine spill can leave a nasty stain that will be a nightmare to deal with. Also,
natural fiber wall coverings can be quite a bit more expensive than regular synthetic coverings. This is true of

touch more complicated than the regular ones. Usually, the grasscloth ones do not have a pre-glued backing. This
means that the glue must be bough separately and applied manually to the wall beforehand.
Faux grasscloth wallpaper can take care of these difficulties in various ways. There are basically two kinds of
faux grasscloth wallpapers. Some of them are made with a different fiber and the pattern is printed on, and others
are actually made of synthetic materials.
The ones that are made of different fibers are able to have many of the aesthetic advantages of the regular
stuff, but they can come at a reduced cost. This is one way of alleviating the cost concerns while still retaining
all of the aesthetic plusses. Faux grasscloth wallpaper that is made of synthetic material can take care of all of
the concerns that I mentioned before. They are easy to maintain, they are much less costly, and they can be as easy
to apply as regular wallpaper.
